How to Prepare for Your Appointment

Welcome to your couture bridal experience.

At Courtné Pinder Couturier, every appointment is intentional, refined, and tailored to you. Here’s everything you need to know before booking.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

1. Choose the Right Service

Please review each service category carefully before selecting your appointment. If you're unsure, select a consultation and we’ll guide you.

2. Know Your Timeline

To ensure the highest quality craftsmanship, we recommend booking within these windows:

Bespoke Bridal Gowns:

Book 6–9 months before your wedding date.

Prom Gowns:

Book October–January (Prom season: April–June).

Evening/Formal Bespoke:

Book at least 3–4 months in advance.

Bridal Alterations:

Begin 8–12 weeks before wedding day.

Formal Alterations:

Begin 4–6 weeks before event.

Dress Preservation:

Book within 2–8 weeks after your wedding.

Dress Steaming:

Schedule 3–7 days before your event.

Day-of Dressing Services:

Book at least 1–2 months in advance.

Rush services are limited and subject to availability.

THE BOOKING PROCESS

For Bespoke Designs

Zoom Consultation (80 minutes | $50)

We discuss your vision, inspiration, silhouette, event details, and expectations.

This fee is applied toward your final balance if you proceed.

Quote & Deposit

Once your quote is approved, a non-refundable deposit secures your slot.

Measurement Appointment (In-Person)

We are a mobile service. Measurements and fittings are conducted at a mutually agreed location.

Fittings & Finalization

Multiple fittings may be required depending on the complexity of your design.

Please note: All bespoke services are design labor only. Fabric is not included unless otherwise stated. Personal fabric shopping is available as an add-on.

WHAT TO WEAR TO FITTINGS

For the most accurate results:

Bring your event-day shoes (or similar heel height)

Wear proper undergarments (strapless bra, shapewear, etc.)

Wear fitted clothing for measurement appointments

Incorrect undergarments may affect the final fit.

ALTERATION APPOINTMENTS

Please bring:

Your garment clean and ready to try on

Event shoes

Proper undergarments

Bridal gowns may require 2–3 fittings depending on adjustments needed.

NEW & SIGNATURE SERVICES

Bridal & Formal Alterations

Professional tailoring for the perfect fit.

Bridal: Typical range $250–$600

Formal: $85–$300

Dress Steaming (Bridal & Formal)

Professional steaming to remove travel or storage wrinkles.

Ideal for destination weddings and photoshoots.

Starting at $65+

Recommended 3–7 days before event.

Wedding Dress Preservation

Heirloom packaging and acid-free folding for long-term storage.

Includes consultation, gown assessment, and custom keepsake kit.

Starting at $375+

Recommended within 2–8 weeks post-wedding.

Day-of Dressing Services

On-site assistance for brides and formal clients. Includes:

Steaming touch-ups

Bustle securing

Veil placement

Final adjustments

Emergency kit assistance

Starting at $150+

Custom Bridal Accessories

Veils, gloves, bows, detachable sleeves, couture embellishments.

In-person add-on only.

IN-HOME / MOBILE APPOINTMENTS

Kindly stow away pets during your appointment

Provide a clear, well-lit space

Inform us if no full-length mirror is available

Professionalism and privacy are always maintained.
